You can use strong tape to preset the collar to the finish surface elevation place until concrete is poured. You want to keep the skimmer lid separate at time of pour. After all concrete is finished and the skimmer lid is filled, you should clean out the collar and wipe off the skimmer lid’s exposed plastic.
